Dr Sarah Coghlan graduated from The Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 1993. Having spent time further training in Dublins Meath Hospital , St James’s hospital and The Children’s Hospital in Temple Street she spent a year in Brisbane, Australia and later completed her MRCGP membership examination in general practice in Cambridge, UK.

She is on the specialist register of General Practice. She has worked in general practice since returning to Ireland in 2000.

She joined the medical practice alongside her parents in practice at Raheny Road. The premises moved to Clannad Medicine Centre in 2005.

She has a specialist interest in paediatrics and has a diploma in Child Health. She is fully qualified in all areas of women’s health.

She continues to be involved in undergraduate student training in General Practice.
