Dr Paul McElhinney graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 2012 with an academic scholarship. He qualified as a GP in 2017 and has been working in Clannad Medical Centre since 2022. He is currently a GP trainer on the Trinity GP Training Scheme and tutors medical students from RCSI. He has a special interest in community surgery, ear nose and throat procedures and joint injections. He is an active member of the Primary Care Surgical Association organising an annual community surgery conference. He is a regular participant and volunteer at the St Anne’s Parkrun and he enjoys open water swimming and rock climbing.
