Pneumococcal Vaccine

Pneumococcal vaccine (PPV23) protect ’s against pneumococcal disease which is a bacterial infection that can cause pneumonia’s and bacteraemia .It can also cause a wide variety of other infections,  It is recommended for those aged 65 years and older and ‘at -risk’ adults and children over 2 years of age.  People over 65 years require only one dose of Pneumococcal vaccine.
