Dr Power studied medicine in NUIG graduating with an honours degree in 2014. She subsequently spent a year working in obstetrics and gynaecology. She then joined the Trinity College Dublin GP programme graduating in 2020. Dr Power joined Clannad in 2024.

She has a special interest in skin with additional qualifications in dermatology and dermoscopy from Cardiff University.

Dr Power also enjoys all aspects of womens health and holds a diploma in obstetrics and gynaecology from the Royal college of obstetricians. She fits all forms of contraceptive devices including the coil and implant. She is a member of the British menopause society.

Dr power has additional experience in addiction medicine and substance misuse. Dr Power is on the specialist registrar with the the Irish medical council and is a member of the Irish college of general practicioners.
